on the left is 22 year old morgan scales of antioch, on the right, 28 year old patrick piazza. both were arrested for vehicle theft. scales was also busted for being in possession of burglary tools. piazza was also booked for violating his parole. both are in custody in alameda county jail. the two were arrested on 5- 80 in posession of a stolen dodge magnum. this was after police say they stole another car, a honda c-r-v in walnut creek. police are now looking for several other suspects involved in this elaborate crime ring. police believe the two stole the honda suv when they broke into this home in walnut creek. police say the two targeted the home because they knew the resident was on vacation. somehow the two were able to obtain a newspapers vacation hold list - providing addresses of residents out of town. besides the car. police say the suspects stole some personal property. police also say that they believe this is a much bigger crime spree. they are now looking back at home burglaries for the past several months. and believe the two and several others suspects could be
